Last year was our biggest Byron Bay ever and with 82 guys it was reminiscent of the early Sydney parties, less frenzy and more friendly which all added that little bit extra to the great sexual encounters. The sun gods from Kings Beach were there and some hot internationals.

There is a relaxed laid back feeling as the holiday mood prevails, the recovery from the New Year’s Eve the night before kicks in, the guys look tanned and toned and all seems right with the world.

So good was last year’s party that many turned up the next night for a mini-MEN party, I guess a recovery from the recovery as January 2nd must be the best day at the beach one could have with glorious weather, perfect surf, great friends and then kicking on back at the MEN house. Why not?

Put this one behind the ‘fridge magnet!

Again we have two newsletters in the one envelope, so put this one aside somewhere so you do not lose it. We do this because feedback from previous years showed that guys wanted early and definite information about the MEN party so that they could plan their holiday arrangements and also plan which party they will attend on New Year’s Eve, either in Sydney or the wonderful Tropical Fruits party in Lismore. Our daylight saving time is 6:30 pm so again time to have some drinks in the garden enjoying the fading light before pantsdown time at 8:00 pm.

Hot yet Warm – Liam

We find Liam on the newsletter and the invitation card. He has been coming to parties for a fair while now and we count him amongst our hottest and warmest. Thanks Liam!

 

Sleaze Excess Recovery at the Kirk

Our Sleaze Ball recoveries are becoming very large parties to organise and for this party all hands were on deck. Chris Smyth did the invitation design and printing, Andrea and Bob M were on the door. Rod and Dermot welcomed guys with a safe sex message to newcomers. Thanks to Brett, especially, for all his running around, getting stuck in traffic whilst organising the music. Kell managed the bar with Jordan and Ivano. Malcolm was again amazing, setting up the scaffolding, the tarps, the cloak room and the sling. William, you did a brilliant job on clothes check. Was blown away by the number of guys who stayed back to clean up this time. Jerry, Bill, Brian S, Erling, Rod S, Phillip, Paul W, Jonathon, Robert J, Graham M, Malcolm and Brett, Chris, Matthew, Darren SH, Kell, David, Daniel, Kane and Brad.

The M.E.N Brochure

We have produced a brochure to supplement our web site. Thanks are due to Rod who applied for the grant to do this and also to Rob at ACON who facilitated the production. They are intended for guys attending their first party so that they can be absolutely clear about what MEN is, what our expectations are, what group culture we have as well as the latest information on safe sex and links to organisations who can provide further assistance.

We trialed them at the last party, giving them out to guys who were guests and to regulars who asked for them. We had nothing but very positive feedback. We send a copy to you so that you can be fully informed and know the contents but also so you can pass it on to anyone you may invite to parties.

They represent a significant financial outlay as they cost about $1.00 each to produce. So we would like you to use them wisely. So unfold and reveal the man inside and share the contents with the hot and warm.

Warm wishes for a great holiday break, lots of summer sex and safety on the roads or wherever you are. Remember bathe between the flags!
