Summer time and the livin’ is easy

The Christmas party is one of our favourites in that it is our only summer party in Sydney. The warm weather gets the guys going and our venue is close and intimate. We thank Michael and Colin for offering their home. There should be enough room for everybody but if not we will close the doors when we have reached capacity for safety and comfort. We have not left disappointed guys on the street for a while now and we have become complacent so those arriving early are guaranteed entry. We are also on our daylight saving time and start at 6.30 pm. Time for you to get off the boat or back from the beach and be surrounded by hot naked men as the twilight turns to dusk.

General Meeting

Thanks to all the guys who turned up to our meeting to organise the parties for 2006. The meeting was enthusiastic and productive. I know many of you did not find out about it because one of the issues to address was that we are having trouble with our email system. Some of the core group of organisers have indicated their desire to step down after years of faithful service and we had guys willing to step up and take over two of the key roles with Napoleon offering to take over front of house and manage the till for the time being and Shaun offering to manage the technology side of things so we should have an improved system up and running soon with all the men who thought they had been crossed off all back in the fold.

We had good proposals (rather than suggestions) for venues and we now have some avenues to explore. However it was again emphasised that if there is no venue there is no party so we need help. With the number of guys on the list surely someone can offer their house. We will even rent it from you for the afternoon.

We reaffirmed our commitment to safe sex practices at parties – always and for everyone. Two groups were singled out in the direction of the safe sex message; the monogamous couples who only have sex with each other using the erotic environment of a MEN party to add to their sexual enjoyment of each other and the second group, some BB poz boyz who enjoy coming to MEN parties with their regular fuck buddies. We reaffirmed our respect for their individual choices however at MEN parties it is one in, all in and all are expected to have safe sex whatever their personal choices outside the parties may be. So no exceptions. Please do not invite as guests guys who cannot or intend not to follow da rulz.

It was agreed that we should purchase a new till and Steve K and Napoleon agreed to investigate the options. We will also purchase any software that will make the task more efficient. We are also in a position to announce that we have resurrected RezErection, The Underwear Party, during the coming Mardi Gras season. Alex B announced at the meeting that he had found a venue and we thank him for his passion in getting our signature party back on the road. The date is March 3rd, that is the Friday of Mardi Gras weekend, followed on the Sunday by the Mardi Gras Recovery MEN party. So TWO parties over Mardi Gras weekend, the Friday then the Sunday.

Now we have been doing the Underwear Party during the lead up to Mardi Gras for many years and had no choice with the date but the Friday of Mardi Gras weekend has several advantages in that a lot more gorgeous internationals will be in town so make sure you invite them! You will get extra invitations in your envelope to give out to hottest and warmest men in town. Also recoveries are well catered for but there are not many opportunities to warm up for the weekend so now we have the ideal warm up to Mardi Gras!

Hot yet Warm – Andrea
