It is always feast or famine and MEN parties are no exception. Just two weeks after Dark and Dirty we find the June long weekend; so why not have a party as we traditionally do on this winter weekend? Never mind the chill of winter, cuddle up to Jorge and feel the heat. To get there you go down Campbell St from Crown and it is the first on the right.

Newsletter Pics
In former times, now lost in the distant past, pics from the net were used to decorate our newsletter. As the MEN group grew in confidence and it was realised that many of our MEN were more stunning than some models on the porn sites. In fact, we had guys coming to parties who had themselves starred in Falcon, Catalina and Chi Chi la Rue movies and who did feature on websites. So for the past few years we have always used our own men on the newsletter. 

The definition of “hot yet warm” varies depending on whom you’re talking to of course and our aim nowadays is less on ogling over stunning men ‘cos we can do that on any web site but to show the variety of hot guys who do come to parties. Older and younger, Latino, GBM, GAM, GWM, local and overseas, poz and neg boyz have all presented their pics in the past and we welcome them. Please send us yours! Pix can be sent to the email address above. We will need decent sized (resolution) versions to use to extract both print and web images. However, for the rest of this year at least … join the queue!

Message from Sydney Leather Pride Assoc.

Dear MEN,
Some of you may be disappointed to find that we have not enough tickets to fill your ticket request for Inquisition XI. We have allocated the available tickets to MEN members in the order ticket requests were received.

The ticket ordering process for MEN members was also confusing. The decision to offer tickets to MEN members was taken 'on the run' and not well thought out. Additionally, SLPA never imagined that so many of you were so keen to come to the party and our volunteers in the office were completely swamped by the number of requests.

We can't go back in time and make this year a more orderly process, but we can promise that MEN members will be offered tickets to Inquisition in 2004 in a timely and ordered manner.

Apologies to those who are disappointed and welcome to the party for those that have ticket allocations (the vast majority). Thank you all for your support.

Dark and Dirty – Inquisition Recovery
Our first thank you is to Greg Bloye, and Sydney Leather Pride who set aside Inquisition tickets for MEN. It allowed many of us to get into the party which had extraordinarily high demand this year due to the smaller venue. It was a leather night to be remembered. For those who are interested in leather but perhaps not committed members of Leather Pride it was an appreciated opportunity. It may be remembered that it was from the Inquisition in 1994 that MEN first got its start.

Thanks to Matthew Huxtable for the MEN invite design, Brian Hooper for the use of his fabulous space. Brian’s enthusiasm and support led him to allowing us to drill his ceiling and he has to take down an exhibition which opened on Saturday night then hang it all again Monday morning

Basking in the glory of his roped harness SX cover of Inquisition week, Gareth, thank you for the hot performance. Striptease usually ends with a jock but to have the face as the most intimate and last thing to be revealed but very erotic. Mike, Geoff, Eric, Matthew, Phillip, Mark Phillip, Malcolm and Brett for set up and shopping. Graham, Geoff, Blair and Dean for the bar, Steve, Jason, Graham, Toby for set up and of course all those who cleaned up.

The year’s program is moving quickly. The next major party is Sleaze in October, then Christmas. See you on Monday June 9.
