as a guide) This venue is spectacular, a sleazy warehouse, the décor of which will be transformed into an incredible space to play, near Petersham station, with unlimited hot water. Also, big enough so that we should be able to get everyone in, however the walls are not elastic, so we will close when we are full. It does not happen THAT often, just warning you. Sleaze Ball recoveries have been legendary in the past. The last three have always had over 200 guys turn up so we are expecting this one to be popular. In 2000 we packed into John Dearman’s house in Surry Hills; Manotaur in 2001 was the one splashed all over DNA magazine, last year we went to the high security venue in the Cross. Time to do Queer Nation afterwards. A weekend of excess! |

of Consent Legislation equalising the age of consent at 16 years of age for males and females has been gazetted. We have always remained scrupulously legal so the implications for MEN parties, in reply to the curly question is, yes, you can invite guests 16yo and over, but it remains illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to be served alcohol. So, if you make a carefully considered judgement and DO invite 16 or 17 year old guys, then YOU look after ‘em. Make sure they stay with soft drink or the non alcoholic punch; watch out for them during the whole evening; make sure their head space is together and take responsibility for them. Your care must be taken very seriously. |

MEN parties Can we cut this rumour guys? We have never photographed MEN parties and have no intention of doing so. Sure, some MEN guys, occasionally, look for models for their porn movies or whatever and we pass these requests on either in the newsletter or by email. But we pride ourselves on the confidentiality of the data base so pics have been, are, and always will be … Fuck! No! |

| MEN on holiday in Byron Bay The MEN party on January 1st in Byron Bay will be on again this year, after the New Year’s Eve Parties. This will be our fourth year up there, only this year we are taking yet another risk and renting a house for two weeks from December 27th until January 9th It is really quite expensive. Sleeping five, it works out roughly at $50 a night per person. The peak is of course on January 1st when everyone is in town for New Year’s Eve. So any MEN travelling up or down the coast can call in and crash cheaply yet in style and comfort. But you will need to book in with money up front. Email us. |
