RezErection 7 – The Underwear Party

It is hard to believe that we are up to our seventh Underwear Party. The party scene has changed since we first started at the Kirk in Cleveland Street and finding a suitable venue where we can have fun is always a challenge. We want it to remain a boutique party for us and our friends yet need it to be as successful as previous years so we need YOU to invite your friends. So note Saturday February 22 in your diaries, two weeks before Mardi Gras.

Word of Caution

We have all had sex at one time or another in places we perhaps should not have. It is all part of the adrenalin rush. There have been some hot sex parties that have gone off recently, one in an abandoned commercial butcher’s shop, complete with meat safe, and another in a derelict cargo ship. As horny as these parties have been, and however hot it looked having chained piss slaves hanging off the walls, you risk being UNchained by da boyz (and, embarrassingly, by da GIRLS) in blue because trespass is illegal. So just be aware that you could be the topic of hilarity when Reg and Polly talk about you at Sunhill Police Station the next day! Needless to say, MEN parties are always completely legal and safe sex does not only mean condoms and water based lube. It extends to your being in a safe place, with permission to be where we are, with responsible service of alcohol, free from interpersonal conflict, feeling secure in the knowledge that you will be looked after, that the data base is confidential, that photographs will not be taken and that guys will not engage in idle gossip of what happens at the party.

Party Donation

We want to keep the guide for the party donation at $20 for as long as we can even though it is getting more difficult to fund the current high standard of parties. What we propose is a “business directory” linked to the MEN home page, for any of you want to keep things in the “network” and who might want painting done, carpentry, eye testing for spectacles, holiday accommodation, WHATEVA! Keeping it friendly we don’t want to set charges yet but email us with your suggestions and if there are any web marketing gurus out there, we await your advice! You never know they might do it naked!

GET OFF! Sleaze Recovery

Had a feeling that there would be at least one under-18 there and we welcomed David, who said he had the best time aged just 17. He knew the deal and respected it and stayed with the soft drink, which we appreciated. He was mildly amused that he had to be “looked after” but he was a very cool young man.
Glenn and Greig, your warehouse was perfect! Thanks to Andrew Faith for his invitation, Steven B, Troy R, Michael B, Matthew S set up the day before, Kevin, Joel, Brett and Malcolm for the bar, Brad F, Mark A, David Heaps, Leif, Jimmy, Nigel and Travis, Graham M, and Ian B from Melbourne, Napoleon, Raymond for set-up, Mikey, Matt D, Reg and Scott for the front desk. David M sheltered the bags. Jon and Jonathon did the door and the videos. Raymond and Brett chose the music. Clean up was Davis Heaps, Mikey, Bill, Graham, Zoran, Jamie, Phillip and Malcolm bumped out.
A special mention to Brett and Malcolm, their shopping and logistics as always made the night run smoothly. It was an amazing venue and Malcolm went to some trouble getting it heated with that huge cannon. It made the night relaxed and comfortable for all.

So a long summer before us, Christmas, Byron Bay then the Underwear Party before we are back to Mardi Gras again. Safe holidays to you all.
